Obituary of Eleanor Beaudry
Eleanor Virginia Beaudry, age 93, died on October 29, 2018, in Yakima, WA. She was born January 29, 1925, in Hague, North Dakota to Joseph and Johanna (Meier) Miller. She was raised and educated in Linton, ND. After graduating in 1943, she attended Carroll College in Helena, MT, where she was an army cadet nurse during WWII, Sisters of Charity School of Nursing, Billings, MT and also Yakima Valley College. She worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Yakima Valley Selah School for the handicap, and several nursing facilities. On October 20, 1947, she married Ernest A. Beaudry in St. Paul’s Church. They lived in Oregon for 28 years, where her husband was employed by Standard Oil as a wholesale distributor. Returning to Yakima from Klamath Falls, OR in 1971. She attended Holy Family Church. Upon retiring, she belonged to the RSVP talent group, where she performed at many of their events. A gifted tap dancer, she had entertained and delighted audiences with her impromptu routines for 65 years. Survivors are daughters Charlotte Beaudry, Trout Creek, MT, Mary Beth Beaudry, Goldendale, WA, and son Ernest L. Beaudry, Selah, WA, and their spouses. Grandchildren; Angela Hall, Joseph and Timothy Beaudry, and Daniel Heilman, Great granddaughters; Mariah, Haley and Mia Hall, and Eilidh Heilman, and sister Josephine Rackley. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1975, and infant daughter, 3 brothers and her parents. Memorials can be made to the Lymphoma Foundation or American Heart Association. Services will be held on Friday November 2, 2018 at 9:30 am at Shaw and Sons 201 N 2nd St, Yakima, WA.
