Marilyn was born in Yakima, WA to Alma Woody (Schuknecht) and Homer Woody.
Mom passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Nov. 14, 2018.
She enjoyed music, dancing, sewing, crocheting, cooking, and more than any of those, spending time with her family.
She retired from St. Elizabeth’s Hospital after 25 years as a housekeeper. She loved her job and also contributed her time collecting donations prizes for company picnics.
In the early 1960s she married Donald St. Mary and had two beautiful daughters and one sweet little boy. In 1971 she married Kenneth Lunceford and they had one daughter. They were married for 42 years until his death in 2013. He was her everything.
She is survived by her daughter Kim Braun (Rob), her brothers Darryl Woody and Homer Woody Jr., a sister, Dorothy Kennison, her grandchildren, Jacob Lunceford, Kyler Gunvaldson, Jeramey St. Mary, Carla Vinsant (Wes), Andrew Lee, Amber Strom and Jonathon St. Mary, four great grandchildren, Madi, Isacc, Lexi and JJ, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Alma, father Homer, daughters Sunny St. Mary-Gutheridge and Starla Lee, her son Patrick St. Mary, and her husband Kenneth Lunceford.
Shaw & Sons is in charge of arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
