Obituary of Darrell Barron
Darrell Wayne Barron, age 56, a lifelong resident of Yakima, lost his long battle with heart disease and passed away on January 28th 2019 with his family by his side. He was called home to the Lord Jesus Christ. Darrell worked as a custom cabinet maker.
Growing up he enjoyed camping and dirt bike riding with his family and childhood friends at Little Naches. His Passion for music led him to play lead guitar in a band.
In 1987 he married Vernita they have three daughters and have remained friends. As his daughters grew he shared his passion for camping and fishing, as well as vacations to Ocean Shores beach with them.
Later in life he spent his time with his friends at Hoops Sports Bar and Grille, camping and fishing at Bumping Lake and on the Columbia River Walleye fishing with his father and Cory. Additionally he helped to raise his grandson Markus.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother Murle. He is survived by daughters; Amber, Amanda (Adrian), and Aymee, also 11 grandchildren, his father Dallas, siblings; Scott (Sherry), and Renee (Virgil), many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and his second family of many friends at Hoops.
He was loved by all and will be deeply missed. There will be a future celebration of life for Darrell at Hoops Sports Bar and Grille after they reopen late February or March.
